What To Expect At Your Tattoo Consultation
One of the main things we get asked as a studio is
“how much is a consultation and why do I need one?’ Let us explain!
A consultation is a way for us as a studio and artists to understand your vision. We chat together; talk through your worries and discuss any hesitations you may have. Next we take the time to go over different ideas and placements for your tattoo.
Some ideas are amazing on paper but won’t work as a tattoo. For example, some ideas make great AI images, but ai isn’t always a realistic possibility. It's important to understand that tattoos can break down over time, so it's always best to get your artist's opinion first.
Consultations with our artist's at YTS give you one to one time to discuss all of your ideas in detail and carefully plan your tattoo with your artist. When you leave the studio we aim to leave you feeling confident and excited about your new ink.
Feel free to take your time and ask us any questions about your tattoo. We have many examples of how tattoos have aged over the years in various styles and designs, not just ones freshly taken on Instagram immediately after.
